Sean Bloos, MPH, MSII, Lead Research Intern in Dr. Yiadom’s lab, presented on The Influence of Time to Diagnosis to Percutaneous Coronary Intervention for Emergency Department ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) Patients: Door-to-ECG Matters at the Dr. Paul K. Whelton 75th Birthday Symposium. Sean was also awarded 1st Place for his poster in the MD/Masters Student category.  

The HSR-DCC Lab’s collaborative work with Vanderbilt University Medical Center was recently featured in the medical center’s scientific blog, Discover. The article titled, “Exceeding Expectations to Improve ED STEMI Care” highlights our work towards better understanding areas for care and risk assessment improvement for ED STEMI patients.
