He will explore how accurately final hospital International Classification of Diseases (ICD) diagnoses reflect the final diagnostic outcome for the collective spectrum of Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) and targeted clinical subtype of ACS for this screening to treatment pathway.

Sean Bloos, MPH, MSII, Lead Research Intern in Dr. Yiadom’s lab, presented on The Influence of Time to Diagnosis to Percutaneous Coronary Intervention for Emergency Department ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) Patients: Door-to-ECG Matters at the Dr. Paul K. Whelton 75th Birthday Symposium. Sean was also awarded 1st Place for his poster in the MD/Masters Student category.
