Drs. Maame Yaa Yiadom and Ian Brown’s  submitted a Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence proposal titled, Developing Artificial Physician Intelligence for the Early Detection of STEMI: Closing an Emergency Care Clinical Practice Gap. Their proposal has been chosen to participate in the final “lightning talk” round of the AIMI-HAI Partnership Grant review process on August 25, 2021.

Monica Saxena, MD, JD joins the HSR-DCC to explore the variation in hospital utilization amongst acute coronary syndrome and non-ACS patients.

Dr. Maame Yaa Yiadom was the visiting research scholar for Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency’s Senior Project Day on May 25, 2021. Dr. Yiadom also presented at the Illinois ACEP Spring Symposium May 27, 2021 on “Application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in the ED.”

Dr. Maame Yaa Yiadom, has become a member of the International Advisory Board for Lancet Digital Health.

Dr. Maame Yaa Yiadom presented “A Framework for Artificial Intelligence in Emergency Medicine” at the Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIMed)’s virtual international conference held on March 30-31st. The conference covered various topics such as surgery, critical care, neuroscience and emergency medicine.
