Dr. Maame Yaa Yiadom was the visiting research scholar for Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency’s Senior Project Day on May 25, 2021. Dr. Yiadom also presented at the Illinois ACEP Spring Symposium May 27, 2021 on “Application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in the ED.”

Dr. Maame Yaa Yiadom, has become a member of the International Advisory Board for Lancet Digital Health.

Dr. Maame Yaa Yiadom spoke to Harvard/BWH residents, medical students, and junior faculty at a moonlight dinner on “Navigating an Academic Career in Research” on March 22, 2021.

Dr. Maame Yaa Yiadom presented “A Framework for Artificial Intelligence in Emergency Medicine” at the Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIMed)’s virtual international conference held on March 30-31st. The conference covered various topics such as surgery, critical care, neuroscience and emergency medicine.

Dr. Maame Yaa Yiadom was a discussant on a panel hosted by the Biomedical Informatics Research Colloquium titled, “Building Bridges Across the Translational Valley of Death: Deploying Clinical Prediction Models at Stanford.”

Dr. Maya Yiadom is the Interim Vice Chair for Research of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Stanford University.
